SVPOA MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Simi Valley Police Officers’ Association is to provide superior representation to the professional Police Officers of the Simi Valley Police Department below the rank of Commander. As a non-profit organization, we provide our members an exceptional level of legal defense, labor relations, and career long support for the officer and their family. We give to our community by sponsoring our local youth and scholastic sports, fellow law enforcement organizations, and other groups and organizations within the City of Simi Valley and it’s surrounding populations. The Simi Valley Police Officers’ Association, “Professionalism through Representation."

MESSAGE FROM THE SVPOA PRESIDENT

Dedicated.png

Welcome to the Simi Valley Police Officers' Association website.

This website is dedicated to the men and women who protect life, property, and the constitutional rights of the Simi Valley citizens. We trust the Simi Valley Police Officers Association (SVPOA) and the community will find this website helpful and informative.

The SVPOA performs its duties with professionalism, dignity, and respect. The SVPOA has achieved and will continue to progress in "professionalism through representation."

The SVPOA thanks the city's government officials, Simi Valley Police Foundation, community members, and business owners for your endless support. It is the joint effort and collaboration between the SVPOA and community that makes Simi Valley a remarkable place to live and work. In 2014 the City of Simi Valley recorded the lowest crimes statistics it has ever documented in its history. The consistently low crime statistics have become a significant reason why people choose the City of Simi Valley to reside and do business.

Our goal as an association is to ensure our membership receives the proper tools it needs to better serve and protect the public, our children, businesses, home, property and the dream of a better future for our whole community.

 Sincerely,
Officer Tim Wedemeyer
SVPOA President
