2026 Political Endorsements

Everyday Simi Valley Police Officers’ work hard to deliver excellent service and public safety. We strive to be good stewards of public resources, and our members are proud to give back in our time off to the community we serve. 


But our success relies on elected officials and community partners who understand the mission of public safety and who support common sense programs and policies.


The candidates, campaigns, issues, or measures that we endorse are aligned with our mission of public safety and responsible government.

In selecting candidates we reviewed their record, assessed a thorough candidate questionnaire, and completed an in person board interview.


With many races having more than one candidate locally we accept that our endorsements may not all align with your personal politics, views, or opinion. We respect every voter and the democratic process of our elections.


These candidates are only considered the "best" on the key and critical areas that your SVPOA focuses on, primarily:


  • Knowledge and understanding of municipal law enforcement.
  • Support and commitment to the policies, programs, and people who deliver excellence in public safety.
  • Support and commitment to the training, staffing, and facilities that keep Simi safe.
  • Strategies for long term fiscal growth and a commitment to responsible spending.
  • Relevant experience to civic minded, servant leadership, and municipal governance.
  • Commitment to follow the regulatory laws of political campaigns and transparent government.
  • Commitment to ensuring that your family's safety remains the top priority.


We believe that there are many challenges facing our city in the years ahead and we need elected leaders and local partners who are ready to tackle the tough issues, keeping public safety a top priority, and ensuring that Simi Valley has the resources it needs to deliver the excellent service our community expects and deserves.
